Beacon Hill Pharma is currently hiring a Clinical Contracts Specialist for a direct opportunity in the Waltham, MA area .

A successful candidate will be able to moderate the approach used and determine when urgency is needed, be able to interpret contract language, use creativity to find solutions while also understanding appropriate boundaries and processes, and liaise with multiple internal and external functions independently.
Identify and address duplicative, incorrectly named/labeled, and missing agreements in the existing contracts database
Manage communication with third parties and internal teams to identify and locate contracts missing from the database
Manage timelines, deliverables, and provides regular updates as required by internal stakeholders
Broad interaction with internal departments and external parties
Ensures that appropriate stakeholders are engaged, initiates meetings, and follows up regularly to ensure that all missing contracts are identified, located, and correctly uploaded into the database
Links related parent, child, and ancillary contracts through database linking feature
Works to build relationships with internal and external parties to encourage collaboration and efficiency
Exhibits good judgment to actively address or escalate (where required) issues as they arise
Assist with the identification of specific contract language in agreements and entry of metadata to classify contracts accordingly
Willingness to provide support to other initiatives as needed
Bachelors degree required
0-3+ years work experience (ideally in pharma/biotech)
Paralegal/legal experience or JD required
Some workplace experience strongly preferred (may be through internships or other roles)
Experience reading and interpreting contract language
Awareness of biotech industry and functions
Business acumen (through business education and/or experience) preferred
Technical Skills: knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office, SmartSheets, Veeva, SharePoint and Oracle preferred
Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with flexibility to manage evolving priorities
Requires moderate degree of complexity at times
