There is a need for an ERP Program Manager for their Corporate Business and Shared Services Department. Job Summary The Program Manager will be responsible for organizing and developing programs in the Corporate segment of the business, including ERP, Financial, HR, and IT applications, to support the organization's strategic direction, coordinate efforts between different projects, and between different programs. The Program Manager will lead the overall program with strong attention to strategy, implementation, and planning. Job Responsibilities 1.Organizing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization. 2.Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization. 3.Developing and managing a budget and operating plan for the program and being accountable for delivering against established business goals and objectives. 4.Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement. 5.Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities. Working closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives. 6.Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved. 7.Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle. 8.Managing program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives. 9.Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1.Proven Expert Experience in program management. 2.Experience with programs related to Financial Systems, ERP Systems, IT Service Management and Portfolio Applications, and HRIS systems. 3.Strong understanding of cloud based application architectures. 4.Understanding of waterfall and agile development methodologies. 5.Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles. 6.Knowledge of budget preparation, cost estimating, monitoring, and fiscal management principles and procedures. Systems and Technical Knowledge 1.Expert ability to work with Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint. 2.Experience with agile tools (e.g. Jira, Rally). Education BS in Business, Operations, Management, Computer Science or equivalent professional experience. Experience 10+ yearsrsquo experience coaching and implementing change. Must be experienced in leading an Agile Transformation in an organization that had little to no agile practices in place. Must be familiar with ERP systems and have demonstrated ERP evaluation, RFP's, and ERP selection and delivery. Licensing andor Certifications One or more certifications are a plus (e.g. PMP, CSM, MPM, PgMP). Location Home Office, main building in New Haven. Work Schedule M-F, 8 am ndash 430 pm Contract Length 12-18 months In addition, the Manager sent me The PM will be supporting and managing the responsibility for organizing and developing programs for the Corporate segment of the business, including ERP, Financial, HR, and IT applications, to support the organization's strategic direction, coordinate efforts between different projects, and between different programs. Candidates must have experience with ERP programs ndash ERP evaluation, RFP and ERP selection and delivery. This person needs to be hands on with project components as this person will be delegating some work but also will be required do the work too.
